GLUE AMSTERDAM

During Glue Amsterdam, Visionnaire will take part in The NeuroAesthetic House exhibit at Studio 23:23, located at Keizersgracht 651. Curated by Justine Kontou, this project will transform the space into a unique sensory experience where art, design, and science converge.

“This exhibition is designed as a sensory journey, guiding visitors step by step into different emotional states. This is why I involved Visionnaire in the project with the Swinging Throne, a brand that immediately captivated me for its exploration of the emotional and affective functionality of its unique creations.”

Featuring Swinging Throne

Sara Ricciardi's Swinging Throne perfectly fits within The NeuroAesthetic House, embodying a design that transcends mere functionality to become a tool for sensory and emotional exploration. This swing, masterfully crafted by the Antica Fabbrica Passamanerie Massia Vittorio 1843, commands the space with a majestic sacredness. A symbol of balance between art and craftsmanship, the throne defies gravity with its elegantly decorated tails. Made from evocative materials and forms, the piece invites the visitor to rediscover a sense of wonder, introspection, and connection, in perfect harmony with the environment curated by Studio 23:23 and Justine Kontou.

Creative Director

“Visionnaire has always developed projects that explore the profound connection between individuals and their surroundings. When we were invited by the curator to take part in this exhibition project in collaboration with Studio 23:23, I immediately found inspiration and points of connection between our work and Justine Kontou’s concept for ‘ The NeuroAesthetic House ’, a setting where Visionnaire’s collectible design finds perfect contextualization.”
