VISIONNAIRE AT HOMO FABER

Visionnaire participates in Homo Faber from September 1st to 30th, 2024, at the prestigious Fondazione Giorgio Cini on San Giorgio Maggiore Island in Venice. This year's theme, "The Journey of Life", celebrates contemporary craftsmanship through inspiring objects, talented artisans and a global experience, reflecting life's standout moments and everyday simplicities.

LOVE ROOM
Featuring Shibari armchair

The Shibari armchair, designed by Studiopepe for Visionnaire, has been chosen by Homo Faber art directors Luca Guadagnino and Nicolò Rosmarini to be showcased in the “Love Room” at the Fondazione Giorgio Cini. This space is dedicated to celebrating the powerful emotion of love. Inspired by the shape of a knot, the armchair embodies an ancient symbol with deep meanings, evoking ideas of union and an unbreakable bond. This selection beautifully reflects Visionnaire’s philosophy, seamlessly merging refined aesthetics with a commitment to sustainability through its 'design for disassembly' approach and the use of sustainable 'Paddington' fabric upholstery.

ELEONORE CAVALLI

Creative Director

"Visionnaire has always envisioned art and craftsmanship as the highest expressions of human talent, elements that form the DNA of our brand. We are thrilled to have been invited once again to an international event like Homo Faber, which not only celebrates Italy as a place of meeting and sharing but also highlights master artisans from around the world, each bringing unique skills and sensibilities. Visionnaire is constantly engaged in a cultural dialogue with the various countries in which it operates, embracing their traditions and reinterpreting them through the lens of Italian design, with the aim of transforming them into something even more beautiful and meaningful, merging the 'know-how' of our country with a global perspective."

Visionnaire also returns to curate the VIP lounge in the Sala del Soffitto of the Giorgio Cini Foundation, showcasing a refined selection of its creations. At the center of this space are the Donovan Square modular sofa by Luigi Cavalli and the Lego coffee table and console by Draga & Aurel, featuring an embrace of geometric shapes that are perfect together.

For the dining area, the Cameron table by Alessandro La Spada has been selected, featuring a sculptural metal base. Fullness and emptiness defined by a curved section coexist within the solid. The Stone chairs by Fabio Bonfà complete the arrangement. Finally, the Pavone armchair by Marc Ange, which, with its design inspired by the eponymous animal and its message of sublimating beauty as a tool for experiencing and understanding the world, has become an undisputed icon of the brand.
