“LUCENTE” AT FRIEZE LOS ANGELES 2024 | Visionnaire Home Philosophy

Visionnaire presents an art design installation by the Creative Director Eleonore Cavalli at its embassy in Los Angeles in North Robertson Boulevard 144 from February 29 to March 3 in occasion of Frieze Art Los Angeles week, exhibiting “Lucente” - a lighting family designed by the artist and designer Gupica.

Creativity and innovation come together: the chosen material for the creation of the lightings is PMMA, with different color gradients, a regenerated material, a special “second” raw material that, thanks to various transformation phases, is given new life and a new purpose.

“The project is a delicate reflection on the power that light has on our emotions and the suggestion that the refractions of gemstones generate in those who contemplate them when light meets the faceted and symmetrical surfaces of the stone, causing evocative luminous and kaleidoscopic effects. The lamp diffusers are indeed inspired by the famous ‘baguette’ cut of diamonds, sapphires, emeralds, and rubies, arranged together to form single, double, or cascading sky-ground light systems” explains Gupica.
