Designing Luxury with Purpose
Designing Luxury with Purpose
In October, Visionnaire organized a talk in collaboration with the IACCW Italy-America Chamber of Commerce West Los Angeles.
The discussion took place at the Los Angeles embassy, focusing on the theme "Designing Luxury with Purpose". It delved into the contemporary notion that design goes beyond mere aesthetics, emphasizing its ability to perform ethical and social roles. The audience was encouraged to explore the interplay of creativity, ethics, sustainability, and social responsibility within the benefit corporation framework.
During this engaging conversation, notable panelists such as Ingalill Wahlroos-Ritter - President of Architecture for Communities Los Angeles - and Danika Quinn - Bentley Brand Manager at O'Gara Beverly Hills, provided their insights and expertise. Giovanni Sannino - the Business Developer for Visionnaire USA, took the stage to deliver the welcome speech for the event. The Executive Director of American Institute of Architects Los Angeles - Carlo Caccavale acted as a moderator. He guided and facilitated the conversation, ensuring a smooth flow of ideas and interactions among the panelists.
Eleonore Cavalli, the Art Director and Co-Founder of Visionnaire, contributed a dedicated video focused on the concept of Benefit Company. The brand received this status 2021, confirming that its purpose goes beyond profits. It extends to the creation of timeless design objects and projects, to the safeguarding of Italian cultural and artisanal heritage.
